A theory

Considering that I have a lot of time to think, I have come up with this theory. There are two types of people in the world. Those with outgoing, wonderful, agreeable personalities that everybody loves from the moment they meet; and then there are people who are quieter, maybe with slightly bad tempers, annoying quirks, whatever. Obviously both these groups encompass an endless variety of personalities. Well, people in the first group have personalities that click easily with each other. Once those friendships are in place, these people just don't care to work at friendships with people that might be a bit harder to get along with (aka, group 2). After all, isn't it human nature to find the easiest way to do things? So why work at friendships with people you don't automatically click with? You already have so many friends that go so well with your personality.

Just thought I'd throw that out there for consideration. So while you are texting or talking or chatting or eating or hanging out with your 'bffs', I will wish that we had texting on our phone plan, wish that maybe once in a blue moon someone would call or email, wish that my bff had time to talk to me, wish that I was somewhere else.
